Dear Supporters,

Today we take Betty to view a home, I did not expect her to go so quickly so my heart is more than a little broken. I am delivering her despite the new family being willing to collect as we have not had her sterilized. The family is saying they will but the loveliest of folk have promised before and not sterilized..so I will collect and do in 6 weeks if not been done. Therefore despite the cost, it will be worth it.

Poor Maise will be alone then and the 2 are getting on so well Betty has amazingly become the little mom... I will bring in one of Eisha's pups this afternoon to help her milk ease before I collect the remaining 2 on Friday they are at the edge of the road now. Maise will then have to show the new pup the ropes. Rio has settled well and has a little girl to play with. Pari spends all her time outside being nosy and running the whole neighborhood.

Our community madam Melinda is adopting us has taken to sleeping on the doorstep at night.
Will update in 2 days.

Dea Supporters,

I don't know who just made a significant contribution but the act of extreme kindness made me cry at the end of a Tails day. 'many more rescues please' Yesterday, 28th June, Rio got offered a perfect home. The joy, he is a beautiful easy going gentle boy, deserves to belong and be loved. I had just kidnapped Maise from Maminka, the 2 were cuddling when I arrived I had to distract mom, we first saw 3, then for a while 2 and for the last 2 weeks only one. Maise has started to follow mom and explore..she's on the roadside and weekend traffic around the busy restaurant meant I had to take her now. 'many more rescues' - poor Maminka, not more than a pup herself and now alone again, my heart and stomach ache.
Yesterday, I took Betty for her vaccination she clung to my arm, the journey, the strangeness, but didn't flinch in my arms when the needle went in. Her trust..I will never deserve the degree of trust and unconditional love these tails give me.
We are in debt again so the new donation will clear the grocery store bill(rice etc), chicken bill and chemist bill.
There is a young female dog that has adopted the auto drivers rank on Cherai beach as her territory, I will have her wormed today then get the vet nurse to give her her multi-vaccine and rabies in situ. Will talk to the vet about when we can sterilize her. She is small still so I can keep her here for 3 days afterward. Not a rescue as such but it will prevent many from having to be rescued.
Betty is too rough with Maise, Rio is good but going today, I shall introduce her slowly with supervision and may bring in one of Eisha's pups who wanders away a lot..company for Maise and will help Eisha's milk slow as I may have to bring in her 2 next weekend.
The weather has been kind to the mom's recently, all the pups are fat fluffy and spotless. Today I worm Maise and vaccinate her next week too, she is small but I know she's 6 weeks.

Eisha's boy has been taken, I knew there was a risk of this her pups are always wanted as they are in such good condition. Thankfully the day he left was the day they started eating. I will try and get some more pictures of her pups this week it has been hard as maminka comes over if I hang around and I am worried Eisha will lose her tolerance when maminka is too close to her babies.

Onwards..thanks to you unknown donors. You save lives and empower them.

 Thank you.

Dear Supporters,

Here's a quick update:

Ronnie is now in his new home. I'll annoy them by checking on him for the next few days which will be hard for him and us. I am not sure how much the auto cost until he returns. Wonderful Naran an amazing young volunteer, who on his only day off, arrived before 7 am to travel with Ronnie and keep him calm and content. I could then get the meat and cook for all, especially the beach moms who will need to be fed and checked on between showers today. THANK YOU we have the sterilizations of Rama and Rocky (the latter is returning for his) tomorrow.

Your selfless generosity ..allows us to continue.
