Dear Supporters,

Thank you so much for all the support. By the grace that you have shown through your contributions, Sougata's lung transplant has been completed. He is recovering pretty well and we are getting discharged after one and a half stay month of stay in the hospital. We cannot express in words how happy we are.

Loads of love to each and every one of you.

Thank you once again.

Dear all,

Sougata, my brother is still under intensive care after his lungs transplant. He is still under weaning process and yet to recover a lot from this condition. This was unfortunate for him that whereas the patients post lungs transplant are discharged from the hospital after 21 days,  he had to stay only in the ICU for a month.

Though the ventilation is not required for him anymore but he is still under BiPAP and other external oxygen support and that is also on a continuous basis where a normal patient after transplant would not have required them so frequently.
His weakness is still there in an ample amount and he is having breathing trouble whenever he is being transfered from the BiPAP to normal oxygen support. We are much worried that the doctors are still not able to give any ray of hope regarding his full recovery and discharge from the hospital. It looks like Sougata may have to stay for another 20 more days in the hospital. We still don't know exactly when Sougata will be able to breath normally by his own and be fit like us.

Hence, please pray to make my brother completely recovered as we know that it was only thanks to the donors like you that my brother's life was saved from that chronic lung disease.

Thank you,
Soumya (Sougata's Brother)

Dear Supporters,

Thank you so much for all the support that you have given us. We are humbled.

Sougata is still in the ICU and is critical. His wounds have not completely healed yet. He requires a high level of medication. He is on BiPaP and needs ventilator support to breathe. A letter from the Doctor has been attached.

Please continue supporting him.

Thank You.
