Hello donors

The parents have found a school for the children close to their home. This week we will be paying the school fees. The school reopens around 30 May and the children are relieved to get back to their studies.

Thank you! For the overwhelming support. Balachandar's family will be forever grateful.

It's been raining heavily these past few days. Their little space was flooded. The children narrowly escaped being stung by a scorpion. I urged Veena to look for a home. I'm happy they found a very good one.



This is a 1-BHK in a safe residential layout near Big Bazaar in JP Nagar. Balachandar may not be able to squat, so they needed a house with a western toilet. The owner is a nice person who reduced advance amount to Rs 30,000. They would have to pay rent of Rs. 6000/month.



It has a solar heater, so the family need not worry about hot water. They moved in yesterday and are happy to stay warm during the monsoon.

This would not have been possible without your help. We are now looking to ensuring they have rent sufficient for the first three months, a bed (since Balachandar little cot is damaged) and School fee for the children who will be enrolled in a nearby school.
