Dear Supporters, Hope you all are doing well.

Through this fundraising campaign, we could do some wonderful work.

Period poverty is real, it causes physical, mental and emotional problems. It can make people feel embarrassed about menstruation, and the stigma surrounding menstruation prevents people from talking about it.

Apart from distributing hygiene pads, we could also create an awareness of menstrual hygiene which is very important for girls and women. Especially during COVID, it has become difficult for the women who belong to underserved families to have access to sanitary pads. Youngistaan foundation reached many economically poor localities to distribute the pads.

Through this crowdfunding campaign, YF’s Women of Courage program could reach out to around 15,000 girls and distribute nearly 5000 sanitary pads. This wonderful work is only possible with all the donors' support.


We will be soon starting a new crowdfunding campaign with a new set of targets to continue the good work we are doing. Hope you all will support it.

Periods do not stop for a pandemic! In the last 60 days, Youngistaan Foundation has donated sanitary napkins to thousands of women and girls across Hyderabad. Our team had a chat about menstrual hygiene with adolescent girls and women who belong to daily wage and migrant households. Women and girls in India face increased challenges during the COVID-19 crisis as they have no access to period products.
