We are going ahead with payment to vendor for solar panels. Unfortunately, we have not managed to raise the full amount. However, we can't wait for long since summers have gotten really unbearable already. We have asked the vendor to give us 60 more days to pay remaining 50% amount. We will continue raising those funds here only.
Once we receive the invoice post first instalment, we will upload the same online as well.

So, as per our original post, this money was to be raised for the following things: 1. Solar Panels 2. Examination table 3. Front gate of the shelter 4. Cupboards and beds for staff and animals 5. Toilet seat, water tank and plumbing material etc.
We have received the quotations for solar panels from three vendors and upon comparitive analysis and further negotiation, we have got the vendor to provide us with 3 kVA Solar panels with a 6kVA setup for INR 2.85 lacs. That should be enough for a 24 hour power backup for 4-5 lights, 4-5 fans and 2 coolers easily. Since we plan to construct further, it is important to have an adequate setup in place.
As far as other things are concerned, we now have a FRONT GATE. And we installed a small handpump as well for the time we don't have electricity to operate the submersible.
Out prime focus is now on solar panels and thus, reaching a minimum 2.85 lacs plus milaap's fee is a must for us..
We have raised 1,00,000 already..65k here and 35k in our bank account....And we want to reach our aim as soon as possible. Thankyou for the support.
