Dear friends,

I have built further the Shivaji Maharaj Museum of Indian History in Pune, which now has 14 pavilions, each with a unique exhibition, a marvellous Bharat Mata temples, where aarti is offered every day, a library, a video room and a garden.

Entrance is free and many school children are visiting (photos attached). However, we still entirely depend on donations and we need one lakh rupees a month for salaries and recurring expenses.

This is what we have initiated in 2018:
January: started a new painting exhibition on Shivaji Maharaj as a Vibhuti
February: Twin Exhibition, a ‘Tale of 2 brothers’, at Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts, New Delhi, inaugurated by Vice President. Also 2 days Symposium on the relevance of Sufism today with leading scholars
July: Started a new hall to house 2 day Shivaji Exhibition

FUTURE PLANS

The Museum is open from 9 to 6PM. We get about 100 to 500 visitors a day. The future Museum (plan attached), will cost approximately 10 crore rupees.

This Museum of 100.000 square feet, will house 70 exhibitions and state of the arts research and archives facilities. It is scheduled to open in 2020.

We need your help as this is a Sewa project which myself and my wife are doing along with our professions. She as a textile designer and myself as a journalist and writer. Please continue to support this campaign and spread the word in your social circles. Every little help counts!

Thanking you
