Hope you all are doing well. The current pandemic is difficult for all of us, yet we are going strong at Make Love Not Scars! Our center has been completely quarantined and we are working from home in order to ensure that the survivors don't get exposed to the virus. Groceries are being delivered on routine. Cases of abuse are rising, and we recently rescued a pregnant acid attack survivor from her abusive husband and brought her to safety. Her future baby and she will no longer be tormented by the abuser.
The recent floods have affected a few survivor's homes. Two of our survivors had minor accidents and are recovering - one has a broken foot. Our center manager, Soni had an appendix operation and will be back to manage everything within a few days.

Our Center is running for survivors during Covid. All food is being ordered online and delivered to ensure that the survivors don't step out. We have connected with wonderful doctors who offer digital consultations where possible.
Your funds help us and our skill training and educational programs to move forward! We just bought 5 phones for survivors to take zoom classes for themselves and their children! It's the small things that help :)
