As per the advise of my reviewing physician, Dr.Vijaybabu during my earlier visit, I will be meeting him tomorrow for further review on current status and advise. While the BP levels during this period was advised to be maintained at 120/80, the pressure levels is navigating between 130/90 and 140/105 for the past one week to 10 days despite following the diet, quantum of salt etc. Therefore, this review to be done. Shall update post the review visit

Thanks once again for your support. Many of my friends who had the experience more or less the same among their family members, advised to continue the treatment at Madras Medical Mission Hospital (MMM), pioneers in Cardiac and Aorta.

Based on the recommendations from known Medical Professionals and Well wishers, I had visited MMM to assess, consult and treat based on current position and have started taking the treatment. The specialists Dr.Lakshmanadhas and Dr.Ezhilan, both Aorta and Aneurism Specialists are treating me. They have opined that OHS is not required at this current stage and can be handled with Stenting, Medication since it is TYPE B DISSECTION. They have started already my First course of treatment  started based on the Echo Cardiogram.

Treatment Advise
CT SCAN - Contrast to be taken frequently as this is a DISSECTION case and advise to be taken from Dr.Ezhilan assessing the situation of the Aorta Tare for further intervention if any. Attaching the reports and other documents, bills etc.

Thanks for supporting me. Like how I had requested your assistance, it is also my equal responsibility to update on happening post the 2nd review where a OHS was advised by SIMS, My Friends and family members insisted to take atleast 3 opinions from Cardio Thoracic Focused hospitals as OHS was suggested and that carrying equal risk. As advised by them, I had visited 2 renowned hospital specialised in handling Type A and B Aorta Dissections.

I was asked to provide the copy of the Contrast CT SCAN - Aorta which was provided by SIMS during my 2nd Review that i had taken. This media has been sent to Aorta speciality team comprising of professionals of the respective hospitals. They will analyse the CT media thoroughly and will provide their findings and treatment recommendations to the Cardio Thoracic Specialists. The recommendations will be any one of the following 1) whether the current status require a OHS (or) 2) STENTING would be sufficient at this point in time (or) 3) to provide first level treatment medically and then move on to Stenting post a particular time frame.

Based on the team's advise the next course of action will be decided by the Cardio Thoracic Specialists. The report is expected the coming week.
