It's always a joy for me to write on behalf of the school. We have entered into the fourth school year and it's amazing to look back. So many incredible stories and memories we have. Education is and perhaps the only option to empower our society especially girls. In a short span of 3 years all our students have pushed themselves hard and progressed well. We are in awe of their learning skills and enthusiasm. And for all this and more we are indebted to you. Your kind contributions has helped us to continue investing in the all round development of our school girls. Now we are motivated to aim for the next 20 years. We are gearing up to build proper classrooms and basic amenities, with this new campaign we are raising funds for the construction and a mini bus. We are hopeful that we would continue to get your support. I am also excited to announce that by 2022 we are aiming to be 100% self sufficient. Which means that we would only need your love and blessings to run the school and of course your visit would be a cherry on the cake. We are hopeful.
In the month of April this year we had the wonderful opportunity to present the idea of green school for rural girls at two TEDx events of which one talk is uploaded. Please watch it, and share. Here’s the link


We request you to kindly support us generously and encourage people around to contribute towards one square feet of construction area. According to our estimation one sq ft construction would cost roughly Rs.1150/-. Our goal this year is beyond our capabilities, but when we see our girls coming to school every day with so much joy we are willing to push ourselves. And ultimately we have our hope in God and you dear friend.

Dear friends,

We are humbled by the amount of support that we have received in the last three years. You have helped us establish, sustain and now we are planning to expand the school. We are about to finish this year’s academic session and the entire year has been truly encouraging. Our students have become a better version of themselves. And so have we.

Their lives inspire us every day. But now that we are growing we are making some big decisions for the next year. We need more classrooms to accommodate new children and better basic facilities. Currently we are working on our campus’s layout, voluntarily a team of Delhi Architects is helping us. Along with this mail I am sharing the first draft of it. We would be happy to receive any feedback on it. We have always believed that The Good Harvest School is a collective effort and we have come thus far with the continuous support extended by you dear partners.

In the month of April, we were invited to give talks at two TEDx events, where we could share about the school and the importance of teaching agriculture from the beginning. And all this we were able to do because you believed in us.

For this academic session we are extending our campaign for two more weeks. We will end the campaign on 15 May. Thank you again for supporting us. We wish that someday you can visit us and see how much change you have brought in the lives of young girls.

For a plant to grow, it needs many things. And our all girls agri-based school is no different. Over the past few years, The Good Harvest School has been given all the love and support it needs to grow. With the help of partners around the globe, what started as a vision has now become a small movement. People like you have come forward and donated their time, talent and money to keep this mission going. And with a bunch of teachers, a few acres of land, and an unrelenting spirit, we managed to change people's perspective towards education, towards agriculture, and most importantly towards their girl child.

But what remains unchanged is our aim: to bring the joy of growing food to our community. At The Good Harvest School, we introduce farming at early learning ages with the primary education to village girls. Hopefully with your support, this mission will continue to touch and transform many lives by next year.
