A street cat who was brought home pregnant has delivered 5 kittens. Just today, a lady found 3 abandoned new born kittens and brought them to us. Tanita the mama cat immediately accepted them. We hope they will survive - and the nutritious diet we can afford for the mama cat thanks to your donations will help make sure they do. WE'll send pics of Tanita and her extended brood with the next update.

The wonderful CARE shelter has, with a little behind the scenes help from us (very little) opened what actually is the first dedicated cat shelter in Bangalore, CARE For Cats. We're very happy to be beaten to the winning post - more resources for cats is a win for us too! Please connect with CARE to contribute or donate. Of course we'll be updating the outline of our fundraiser to reflect this happy development. We will also plan an open house at our own home shelter for July. Let us know if you would like to attend.
