Vardhana was discharged a few weeks ago but she had developed a fever so we had to take her to the hospital again. The doctors have conducted a surgery on her heart but she has various other major problems.

She was supposed to undergo another surgery but she had developed an infection due to which the surgery could not take place. The doctors had asked us to wait for a month before they could conduct the surgery. She was receiving antibiotics but she had developed various infections and was being given antibiotics for the same. She underwent a surgery in October which was successful.

She also has some problem in her heart valve which is quite serious. The doctors are not sure whether it is an infection or a blood clot yet. She might need another surgery for this. She is receiving antibiotics through a central line. We have to give her milk through a tube because she is rejecting it orally.

There is urine retention also and the urine has to be drained out manually. She needs long term treatment.
