Dear Supporters,

I visited Apna Ghar ashram last week.
I was amazed by the progress made during last few months.
Fortunately, it was the lunch time so sharing the pictures of real time service.

Dear Supporters,

Your contribution is making a positive impact on society. I am sharing a few updates with you all.

During Financial Year 2018-19:
  • There were 5 new Ashrams started
  • International expansion of services - started 2 ashrams in Nepal
  • In Bharatpur ashram, started X-Ray and Pathology services for common people
  • Completed construction of 500 capacity facilities across 6 ashrams
  • Undergoing construction for 1100 inmates
  • Started eClinics for medical consultation including from experts from outside of India
  • Started smart classes for kids living in ashrams
  • 3903 new inmates were admitted
  • 2276 inmates were rehabilitated with their families across 23 states of India, Nepal & Bangladesh
I am really thrilled to share with you all that as per the Audit Report, the monthly average spend on each inmate is only 2,500 INR ($35) which should be among the lowest in India.

The following chart shows the journey over the last 4 years at Apna Ghar:
From Top Left to Bottom Left (ClockWise):
  1. Number of Ashrams
  2. Expenditure per annum (in Lakhs)
  3. Number of inmates Total vs Bharatpur
  4. Split of inmates by Admission, Rehabilitated and Expired

The kind of impact we all are creating is visible from this single story where a Father had done final rites for his son assuming him to be dead, but Apna Ghar could cure the son and got them reunited:

Here are few of the under construction projects. If you want to help, please let us know.

Currently, there is 2.5 Cr loan on Bharatpur Ashram to meet the daily needs of inmates.

Thanks,
Mohit
