Dear Supporters,

Thank you for the love and support you have shown towards Saif.

Saif was critically ill with grade 4 graft versus host disease of the skin after bone marrow transplantation. These were the most difficult times for his father who was alone in Chennai as his care giver.

The mother had to continue her work in dhaka as her employers could not grant leave and she was the main bread winner. His whole body looked as if it was burnt and there was no space to take blood tests or give injections that could save his life. The skin burnt all day and he was in constant pain.

Amazing nursing helped him slowly recover and he has now been discharged with his skin completely recovered. He still has eye problems due to gvhd. Please

Thank you for the love and support you have shown Saif.

Dear Supporters,

I am extremely grateful to all of you for the love and support you have given my child.

Saif is still in the pediatrics ward of the hospital. The doctors have told us that there has been an improvement in his condition and that he is progressing well. He is unable to see but the doctors say that with the treatment that he is receiving, he will be able to see after a week.

His rashes have also decreased. Last week he had a ear infection for which he received medication. He cannot move a lot right now and once he is discharged, he will receive therapy that will help him walk.

Once again, please accept my humble request to keep sharing this campaign because my son needs your support. Thank you all!

Regards,
Faizal (father)

Dear Supporters,

Thank you so much for the love and support. Here is an update on Saif Ikbal's health.

He has had a really difficult time with skin graft versus host disease and he was in pain for over 2 weeks.
His mother was in their village and he desperately wanted to see her. His skin is far better now and he is off morphine and he has had a happy reunion with his mother.

He still has a long journey ahead of him to overcome graft versus host disease and will remain in hospital for another few weeks.

The father has been his main caregiver and is grateful to all Milaap donors who have come to his aid in his hour of need.
