Peaceful is undergoing her third month of chemotherapy. We will be going to Chennai from Agartala for her chemotherapy this week. The doctor had suggested that she take a gap of 20 days between the chemotherapy.
She has been undergoing only chemotherapy since July, and the doctors had told us that she will have to keep undergoing chemotherapy for a year. She has been taking medication as well. She had a fever during the first month of her chemotherapy, but she hasn't had any side effects since then.
Peaceful is feeling much better now. We take her for blood tests and urine tests every week. Her reports show that her platelet count has improved and so has her hemoglobin. Next week we will be meeting the doctors, and he will let us know what the future course of treatment will be.
