Thank you all for your support. Just returned after visiting Markandeya & Ammulu at the hospital (Vydehi, Whitefield, Bangalore) and would like to provide an update. He is moved to regular/neurosurgery recovery ward in 4th floor after surgery. He is able recognize and recall almost everything from past, recognized us by name. We had a chat with him for a few minutes but seems like he is going through a lot of pain when the painkillers' effect is going down during nights, hoping that things will improve in coming days but his lower body is still not responding and need to wait and see...

Conveyed the support provided by you all and Ammulu is very thankful to all of you. As of now they are mostly running on money borrowed from extended family/others and these funds will greatly help them in further treatment and recovery.
