The baby is getting better now. Her acid level is showing improvement. Since the baby is having a congenital heart disease with multi-organ dysfunction and metabolic acidosis, she needs a genetic evaluation. Currently, she is on non-invasive ventilation support, IV fluids and IV antibiotics. The doctors have told us that she might need a further stay in the NICU for about two more weeks.
We are all hopeful about her recovery. We shall keep you posted. Thank you once again!
