He is presently at home and doing well. He completed his chemotherapy and is undergoing maintenance chemotherapy now.

Guhan Kumar has been diagnosed with high risk B-cell Acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. He required a chemo port insertion as he needs frequent admissions for chemotherapy. He has completed High dose methotrexate chemotherapy and is due to start the next phase (Delayed intensification). He will undergo a bone marrow evaluation before the next phase of chemotherapy (Maintenance) to assess response. At present, he appears to be responding well to treatment.

Thank you for the wonderful support you have shown towards Guhan.

He has undergone three cycles of chemotherapy and is now at home. He is doing fine and there are no major side effects as of now. The family will visit the hospital so that doctors can schedule the next chemotherapy.
