Dear Supporter and Wellwisher,

Here I would like to update you on the progress of this cause.

It is already 3 weeks past the reopening of schools across India after the summer vacation. All our students are back to school with new books and uniform as well as new excitement. Meanwhile, we have involved them in other extra curricular activities as well.

1. Summer Recreational Tour

As a part of education, we take our students on a recreational tour every summer. This is a process to make students, from across the nation, meet and share their experiences with others.

We have taken our students on a tour to OOTY and nearby places. They had a glimpse of coffee plantation, visited the highest peak in peninsula - Dodabetta peak.
They had all the fun in water games as well.

2. Swachh Bharat

When the spirit of swachatha is indoctrinated in to the minds of young kids, they don't differentiate the place as ours' or others'.

They simply see the filth as filth and just want to get rid of that. They take active steps, bend down plucking off the weeds, cleaning the surroundings, getting themselves dirty so that the place gets clean.

Here, our Aakanksha students were returning back from Ooty as a part of their annual recreational tour in their summer vacation. They stopped at a government primary school in a village in chittor district of Andhra pradesh to have their morning breakfast. They couldn't tolerate the filth and the weeds growing in the school surroundings.

They decided - "Clean it first. Then breakfast."

Result is sound and clear. A clean school surrounding and the teachers of that school feed these youngsters with eggs in their breakfast.
Tomorrow's citizens are responsible today itself. Are we responsible?
