Hi everyone,

We have finally procured the supplies for Cuddalore and are now in the process of assembling and packing our supply kits. We will be packing overnight as the truck will be leaving early morning tomorrow from Bangalore to reach Cuddalore by evening.

Kit 2.0 is offered as separate kits for men and women:

However both kits will contain:
1. Towel
2. Water Bottle
3. Amulya milk packet 
4. Candle 
5. Match box 
6. Emami Mentho plus balm
7. ORS packet 
8. Goodnight mosquito repellent cards
9. Blanket

Kits for men will contain one Lungi and Kits for women will contain a Nighty each. In addition, we are also sending 500 packs of sanitary napkins and 3 carton boxes containing basic medicines. Images of our supplies will be uploaded right now.

Our volunteers Vishwanathan Balasubramanian & Team in Cuddalore will help us in distributing these kits in nearby villages where people have been severely affected. Due to reports of looting and goondas, we are also working hard to get security through the District Collector on the highways to ensure safe transit. The kits need to reach the right hands! Please keep us in your prayers. Moving forward, we are planning to organize a second batch to Chennai soon and we will keep you guys posted on the developments.

We really appreciate the positive energy and feedback from so many of our friends and contributors. You guys have given us more hope in our campaign and boosted our morale. Currently, we have consolidated the requirements list for the kits we are planning to send to Cuddalore. They are:
1. 1000 blankets
2. 500 Lungies
3. 500 Nighties
4.1000 Towels
5.1000 Vicks vaporub
6. 3000 mosquito coils with match boxes
These were decided based on inputs from local relief workers who have extensively surveyed the Cuddalore area. We hope we can procure them all if not more as funds come through.
