Greetings from RightWalk Foundation!

We are truly thankful to each one of you who have contributed to our campaign and enabled us to serve meals to thousands of families across the State.

With the support received through the campaign and Aavishkaar's match based funding we will now be able to provide kits to 1000 more families over the next two weeks.

We have been distributing ration kits to the needy since the time lock down hit. All this while we didn’t brand our ration packets and that was a conscious decision. However, as lock down opened, our Helpline Manager suggested to use these packets to campaign about RTE and Helpline number as applications are still open till July 10th. So, we decided to act on this idea and utilize the space available on the packets for our RTE campaigning.

Our office space has currently become our storage house and packaging station of kits with work going on in full fervor. All distribution is being coordinated from our office itself.

In the meantime, we also got the opportunity to expand our ration distribution drive to the districts of Kanpur and Ghaziabad with support from Robin Hood Army (RHA) volunteers. Thanks to them we were able to support rickshaw puller community and migrant laborers  at these locations.

Greetings from RightWalk Foundation!

We are truly greatful to each one of you who have contributed to our campaign and enabled us in serving thousands of families in distress across the State.

We are still engaged in distributing dry ration. With the migrants' returning to their base locations and staggered operations of business, several people are sleeping hungry and the needs for distribution of food kits is higher than ever. We are trying to reach to as many untapped locations as possible.

Over the last few days we have distributed kits to Tharu tribe residents of Kalendar Kheda, snake charmer community, migrants at quarantine center Mohanlanganj and migrants from Chhattisgarh among many others.

We also distributed education kit with stationary items to school going children from disadvantaged communities to help them sustain their education during lock down. The bags filled with stationary brought a board smile to the weary faces!

Dear Friends, Supporters and Well-wishers,

We are truly grateful for your generous contribution to our fundraiser that is aimed at fighting hunger during and after the lockdown period.

Most of the UP migrants are home and they must not be allowed to face hunger. We have now covered a total of 3500 families with your support that is equivalent to 8 lac meals for 18,000 people. We have also expanded our dry ration distribution drive at other districts as well including Unnao, Hardoi, Gorakhour, Noida, Agra and Varanasi. We have also been assisting free movement of migrants in UP so that no one has to walk home for hundreds of kilometers on foot. Our advocacy effort benefited several lakh migrant labourers who were walking on foot to their native place in Uttar Pradesh.
