Dear Supporters,

Here is an update on Himansh's health.

Thank you for the wonderful support shown towards this kid. Himansh has been taken out of the ventilator. He is stable and breathing well without the ventilator.

He has been started with the second phase of the treatment where he is being injections to help in rebuilding the muscles and tissues. He is being fed by tube and will be fed the same way until his health stabilizes further.

He will be needing an extended stay in the hospital as he will be needing frequent dressings. He will also be under close observation to monitor and reduce the infections.

Thank you all once again. Please do pray for his health and speedy recovery. Will keep you posted.

Best,
Dr.Farhan

Dear All,

Thank you for the wonderful support shown towards this kid. Himansh was taken out of mechanical ventilator last night. He is stable and breathing well without ventilator but requiring some support from the machine called HFNC. His burn wounds are also in early phases of healing. However he still has a long way to go.

He will be kept in the Pediatric ICU for another 2-3 weeks and during this period his condition will remain critical and will be under close monitoring.
Such small children with 50-60% burns carry high risk of complications.
The Pediatric ICU team is taking utmost precautions to take if all the issues.

The parents are very happy with the response and have thanked each and everyone one of you who have come forward to help this little child.
