Just an update from Sumit end.

He is doing fine and no hiccups yet. He is playing and enjoying fully. However, the countdown to the next operation begins. He is scheduled to be operated on 5/5/2018 at KEM.

Keep him in your prayers as he prepares for this critical operation ...🙏🏻

We thank you all for your support.

Sumit moved back home on 12th March. He has been doing well since than and health has remained stable.

As a part of the discharge process from Surya hospital it was required to do the following tests,
1. DNA
2. Brain disorder test

These tests were conducted last week at Wadia hospital and Sumit has been diagnosed to have issues with the nerve cells of his brain. That was the root cause of his earlier problem and will need a brain surgery to be conducted to help cure this

Wadia doctors have recommended this surgery to be done in KEM Hospital

Doctors have given 5th May 2018 to conduct the surgery. Its estimated to cost around 2.75 lakhs

We are therefore increasing the limit for this campaign to 8 lakhs so that Sumit's treatment can take place and including post operative expenses.

Dear Supporters,

Sumit and family moved out of the hospital to their house today afternoon. As they settle into their new house let’s pray that Sumit recuperates well in the next 60 days.

Shalini will engage with the Wadia doctors to take his treatment forward. Our updates will now become less frequent as we let Sumit adjust to his new environment.
