Here is a quick update on Baby Maryam.
Baby Maryam has been evaluated to see her fitness for the surgery. Her mother, Zarin Fatima who volunteered to be the donor has also undergone the evaluation.

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for all the love and support you have shown my daughter. She is doing better now and is responding positively to the treatment.

The doctors have suggested us to get Maryam and her mother tested to see if they are a match but I have to go home for two days due to some personal work. I spoke to the doctors and they suggested that the tests can be conducted any time this week. As soon as I am done with the work, I will be taking both of them to the hospital to undergo the tests. The doctors will be able to suggest the future course of action after the reports from the tests are out.

Thank you for all the love and support you have shown my daughter. She is doing better now and is responding positively to the treatment.

Due to rectal bleeding, the doctors have adviced us for follow-ups which happen once in 3-5 days. Her eyes and nails are turning yellow and her stomach is bloating up at a slow pace. But her itching has reduced after the new antibiotics were administered.

Her mother is scheduled to go for a few tests to check if she can donate a part of her liver to our daughter. If not we will be trying outside for a donor. Will keep you posted.
