Thank you so much for coming out as a community to help the child. I am grateful to all of you for being so generous and trusting. My belief in inherent goodness of people and faith in humanity has been renewed! For every bad thing we see around us, there is 10 times more goodness that goes unnoticed. This support campaign is a testimony to that goodness that exists within each one of us and around us. Within matter of few hours, people from far and wide, some known, some unknown, some complete strangers have reached out in huge numbers to extend their support. I cannot help but feel grateful.
Update on the child - she has opened one of her eyes (can't open the other), has called out to her mother and has taken a few sips of water. All of this indicate good sign. She was unable to pass urine for 24 hrs which was a sign of kidney failure, but with some difficulty she has now managed to urinate. She is susceptible to infection due to the bare and scathed skin.
Please continue to keep her and her parents in your prayers. I will share updates as and when I receive them from the doctor and family. God Bless you all!
