Dear Friends,

With God's grace and your prayers, Deepak's health is stationery. With the doctor's consent, we have currently sent him to Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) due to the ongoing weather condition in New Delhi. He has been feeling much better there.

Deepak is currently on oral medication and his present reports are showing the signs of Blood Blasts but haven't crossed the emergency bar. This means the cancer is present and ultimately he would have to undergo the 3rd Chemo.

As far as his third Chemo is concerned, Doctor's are waiting for his medicines to reach from the US. Meanwhile, they are utilizing this time period to make him gain little health and moreover get him mentally fit to fight back.

Will update further as and when things progress, meanwhile keep him in your prayers as he is fighting it really hard.

Best Regards,

Karun Punchhi

Dear Friends,

Deepak celebrated this Diwali with us at my home, along with friends, kids and well wishers. He felt very positive and happy. Been in hospital for so many months this event brought him some pleasure and a sense of the world that he craves every second.
I remember, during his 2nd chemo, quite often he use to faint and then wake up like a newborn child, crying, not in wonderment but in pain. And on Diwali when I saw him laughing, sitting and enjoying every second that his body permitted, I prayed to God to please never send him back for another CHEMO. I wish so much to see him always happy, cheerful and laughing.

UNFORTUNATELY, his today’s blood report projects 11% blasts, which indicates that the third round of CHEMO might be required. Though the final decision will be taken once his Bone Marrow Aspiration test happens, which was scheduled for today but unfortunately his health did not permit to conduct. Therefore it will happen in few days.

We are praying to the Gods for a miracle that his Bone Marrow Aspiration Test results come negative with no signs of blasts and he can graduate directly for Bone Marrow Transplant. Will keep you posted.

Meanwhile, I thank each one of you not only for your monetary contribution but also for giving us HOPE and POSITIVITY.

Likewise Deepak’s fight, our campaign is still on and whatever contribution that will happen from today till 31st of October, Milaap will additionally contribute 25% of that amount for Deepak’s treatment.  Please share as much as possible. You have been a DONOR now please be a SUPPORTER.

You guys are angels!!
