MEGA CEI Medical Camp conducted in Sudhagad Tehsil (Raigad), Maharashtra!
CEI organised mega medical camp in collaboration with Thane Downtown Rotary Club in the remote tribal hamlet of Sudhagad Tehsil, Raigad District (Maharashtra) #CEIMedicalAid
These below poverty line tribals live in remote hamlets and don't have access to medical facility or medicines. Many tribal men, women and children benefited from CEI medical camp, the doctors did through check up of all ailments.
CEI also ensured medicines are provided to tribals, CEI will continue to provide medicines, ensuring all possible healthcare solutions in coming months to the tribals. There is an urgent need for the same in the ongoing Pandemic times & difficult winter season

Below Poverty line tribal Ram Bhau ji's hut was destroyed in cyclone in his remote tribal village in Raigad (Maharashtra).
CEI helped rebuild his hut in the recent monsoon season. CEI tribal project officer Raviji with Ram Bhauji belonging to particularly vulnerable tribal group.
We have trained many such tribals such as Raviji who ensure CEI's relief & empowerment initiatives reach to the most disenfranchised section of the society.

CEI team has been providing medical care and aid for the BPL Particularly Vulnerable tribal groups and other destitute. With surge in covid-19 and other infectious disease it is especially required for them in this winter.
CEI tribal project officer Ravindra Pawar ji led the medical aid initiative for PVTG tribal Namdev ji who lost his father recently. He belongs to extremely below poverty line tribal family.
After sudden death of his father recently, PVTG tribal Namdev ji himself suffered accident and other various physical ailments. CEI is ensuring he receives the required medical aid and other essential care. He lives in a remote tribal village in Maharashtra. #CEIMedicalAid
To help raise the rest of the amount faster, Milaap is offering a 5% matching on all the payments (till 6PM Saturday , 19-Dec-2020 ). This means for every 5000 INR, Milaap will contribute an additional 250 INR to the campaign thereby creating 1.05X the impact.

We at Confederation of Empowerment Initiatives (CEI) have decided to increase the duration of this Fundraiser as COVID-19 cases are increasing every day, Economic Lockdown is still in force and we’re stopping illegal migration from taking place.
Our Relief-Rehabilitation-Reconstruction Efforts are still on, and we are now countering the Long-Term Economic Impact of Natural Calamities (Eg. Cyclones, Floods), National Lockdown, Economic Slowdown, Increasing COVID-19 cases.
We’re also working towards providing Relief & Rehabilitation to Migrant Labourers who have lost their ability to work elsewhere due to the Nationwide lockdown.
CEI has now expanded its scope of work to all parts of Maharashtra, and in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Jharkhand.
Countering Long-Term Economic Impact is an ongoing process that needs to be dealt with immediately & with utmost priority – hence, we’re extending the duration of this Milaap Fundraiser.
