Dear Supporters,

Thank you for the love and support you have shown towards Prakrit. His Chemotherapy is still postponed because of the frequent high degree fever. He has been hospitalized and is being administered IV antibiotics for the fever.

Once the fever subsides, the third cycle of chemotherapy is about to start in February. There will be twenty-six days of continuous chemotherapy in the next cycle. This will be the hardest chemotherapy in his treatment.

Thanks for your support and please keep him in your prayers. Will keep you posted.

Dear Supporters,

Here is an update on the baby.

This month was really hard. He developed severe allergies for one particular chemo medicine. He developed red wheals all over the body with severe swelling of face and ears.

Even after giving the antidote for that, this reaction occurred again. He was in keen observation for this. Once this allergy reduced, he developed fever and was hospitalized again.

He is developing subsequent fevers because of which the chemotherapy is getting postponed. We are still in the second cycle of Chemotherapy and there are still 6 more to go.

Thank you for your prayers and support. Please pray for his health and speedy recovery.

Dear Supporters,

Here is an update on Baby Prakrith.
Prakrith has to undergo nine cycles of chemotherapy and has completed once chemotherapy session. He has to visit the hospital for his weekly checkups thrice a week and take injections.

His Bone Marrow aspiration for MRD was done successfully. The result was favorable and he is responding to the treatment.

For further chemotherapy, a surgery was done and the Chemoport was inserted above his right chest. As his blood counts are very low and he is very young, it is difficult to find veins for providing chemotherapy. To overcome this, the Chemoport is inserted. The Chemoport helps in providing injections and medicines for the baby.

After this operation and as a side effect of chemotherapy, he suffered loose stools, high fever, vomiting and his hemoglobin counts dropped. For this, he underwent blood transfusions to normalize the hemoglobin level.

The second set of chemotherapy has started and the side effects are very high. As of now, they are treating him for the side effects and once they come down, the chemotherapy will be continued again.

Once his WBC count is stable, he has to undergo injections thrice a month in his spinal cord, injections on his thigh and fluid medications too.

Thanks for your support and Please keep him in your prayers for his recovery.
