The contractor hired for to construct the two new toilet blocks at Semmangudi Higher Secondary School is Mr.Hari of Sree Hari Builders based out of Kumbakonam.

Keeping in mind the number of students, privacy, safety, child friendly designs and the cost, Sree Hari Builders have provided us with a plan and the estimate to construct the two new toilet blocks. Mr.Hari says, "access to the toilet must be open and clear without any hindrance. 

Hence, we require just over 500 square feet of space to provide 10 toilets and 5 sinks in each block. This also includes a passageway. The structure has been planned in such a way that the students feel safe and comfortable using the toilets".
