1) 65 year old tribal Harish ji takes care of his grandchildren alone since his son passed away. 

He worked as manual laborer which ceased after lockdown, he belongs to BPL group. A few weeks ago CEI provided food provisions for 1 month for his family!


2) #SaveAChild this Deepavali with Confederation of Empowerment Initiatives (CEI)!

CEI team is working tirelessly to save and empower vulnerable children’s lives, to protect them from exploitation & abuse, secure their rights and to help them fulfil their potential.

CEI provided clothes for the winter season to Akhil, CEI is taking care of all his essential requirements from long term perspective. Look at the content on his face.

This Deepawali, help us bring Akhil joy as he gets essential provisions for his basic requirements.

2) This Deepawali help CEI restore Mangala Waghmare's life, she is 4 year old tribal girl from a very remote village Maharashtra. 

She doesn't have father & belongs to an extremely below poverty line tribal community. Her stomach is distended due to severe malnutrition.

Mangala has iron & protein deficiency. Lack of food & clean drinking water is rampant in her tribal community. In this  winter season she does not have clothes.

Such vulnerable tribal children are at risk of Trafficking & other forms of severe Exploitation & Abuse. #BetiBachao

4 year old neglected, destitute child with a neck deformity, Akhil Lahu Pawar ji's father is invalid due to being a drunkard and his mother passed away when he was a small baby...

CEI shall now take care of every need & requirement of little Akhil! His happy face is reflective of him eating his first meal in days !!


CEI also held a clothes distribution drive to distribute new clothes to our Adivasi family members in Village Ghodpapadwadi (Sudhagad, MH), to help Strategically Prepare them for the incoming harsh winter!

Update #27:

1) Sharing #Glimpses of the CEI Horticulture Initiative Drive!

- Gram Dandwadi & Gram Potluj (Raigad District, Maharashtra).
- Distributed 500 highly rewarding plants to Adivasi Families
- Empowered over 200 Adivasis in one go!

This is the true power & strength of #CEIResiliencySolutions!


2) CEI team rescued Tribal Children near Dighewadi village (Sudhagad tehsil, Raigad, MH). Many of these children are orphans & were forced into bonded labor by contractors. CEI is taking care of their food requirements so that they have chance to survive in this Covid-19 crisis.


3) Ganesh ji belongs to Below Poverty Line Tribal group. He hasn't received his daily wages since the construction contractor has left the site due to lockdown. He received food  provisions adequate for 1 month from CEI for his entire family.  


4) Tribal widow Lakshmi ji belongs to BPL group. Since past 3 months she has been in utter destitution, she is along taking care of her daughter. CEI CEI provided food provisions for 1 month for herself & her daughter


5) Devnath ji used to work as agricultural laborer in rice fields, since the lockdown began, he has been without any wage. He has been looking after his old father alone. CEI team provided sufficient food provisions for 1 month to his family.
