Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your support. In continuation to the last update, we are sharing details of fund utilisation for the two beneficiaries. Please note that no funds have been withdrawn from the campaign yet.

The first beneficiary, Ujjwal, Son of Retired Colonel Madhukar Prasad Sinha, a Kargil War veteran, was only 18 years of age, pursuing his B.Com when he met with a near-fatal Motor Cycle accident on 23rd December 2000. When Ujjwal met with the accident, his father was fighting at the LOC at Poonch. Colonel Sinha has spent almost all his saving and income for Ujjwal’s treatment. From the funds raised, Rs.1,32,300  will be utilised to buy an electric wheelchair for Ujjwal. The funds will be transferred to the vendor directly. Please find the estimation from the vendor below along with an email confirmation.

Medical report of Ujwal:

The second beneficiary Retired Naik Bhagwan Singh met with an accident on 09 Nov 2018, which left him in almost a vegetative state. He was treated in Military Hospital and he is now taking treatment in Air Force Hospital, Bangalore. His wife is living in Bangalore, with her young child, to be close to him and to take care of him. A part of the funds raised will be utilised for expenses related to the treatment and for the welfare of Naik Bhagwan’s 2-year-old son. Funds would be transferred after KYC verification and relevant documents of utilisation. We are awaiting confirmation from the Army on the estimation of the amount required and transfer of funds.

Donors will continue to receive regular updates on the campaign. Thank you for the support once again.

Dear Supporters, We are whole heartedly thankful the support you guys have extended towards this cause, you guys aren't only helping the soldiers, the people who guarded our nation and our freedom but also helping their families who might be breaking down in this tough time of Pandemic.

Every one of us should be proud that we are helping our heroes and We want to introduce another beneficiary of this campaign. His name is Naik Bhagwan Singh. Naik Bhagwan Singh was born in Rajasthan in 1992. He joined the army on 08 Feb 2013. He joined one of the most prestigious Special Forces Unit of the country on 28 Aug 2014.

While posted at PRTC, Nk Bhagwan Singh met with an accident on 09 Nov 2018, which left him in almost a vegetative state. He has been in Military Hospital since then. Presently, he is admitted in Air Force Hospital, Bangalore. His wife is living in Bangalore, alone with her very young child, to be close to him and to take care of him.

The Special Forces community was extending every help possible for this brave son of soil who was part of several counter terrorist operations but they have their limits, we came to know about this hero in need and raising money for him is the least we can do, a single rupee will make an impact.
