Palawi children enjoy kite flying

 A kite festival was organized on the occasion of Makar Sankranti under the Palawi project for children living with HIV.
 The children of Palawi celebrated the festival by flying kites.
 In the afternoon sky of Makar Sankranti, colorful kites were seen everywhere in the Palawi project area.
 The practice of kite flying on the day of Makar Sankranti has a scientific reason behind it. In that sense, flying a kite is an exercise in arms and legs.  The festival of Makar Sankranti also gives energy to the body as it falls in the cold.  Vitamin D is also found in sunlight.  In addition, it prevents cold and cough.
 Kites were given to the children for this purpose. At this time, the children enjoyed a lot.

Children of " Palawi "made a long awaited one day trip to Chinchani village in Pandharpur Taluka, Solapur district of Maharashtra on 8th July. It was indeed a great opportunity and experience for the children of Palawi. Traveling to new place and exploring the possibility is inspiring for the children.

This place is amidst nature and full of great energy and tranquility. The Chinchani village is promoting the tourism by preserving the nature and its culture. Huge areas were covered with trees and more new saplings were planted. Grains and water were kept near trees for birds and other animals.

The 110  Palawi children and  team is first few groups to visit the place and we are really honored to be part of this beautiful village community and share the unforgettable experiences. The village community explained about the importance and necessity of such tourism. The children of all age groups absolutely enjoyed and were overwhelmed by this trip. Preserving nature and building hopes for the next generation is something that will remain with children of Palawi.

With your help and support, We were able to save the children suffering from HIV+. We were able to ensure that their lives were as close to normal as possible, with enough food, clean shelter and a very busy work day.
