The reason we keep on saying that shelters are for sick and needy animals and not healthy ones. This dog has been living like this for the past 2 months. No shelter had space to take him in as they have too many dogs. He was finally picked up last night and shifted to Pawssion where he will stay permanently. He was reported in a WhatsApp group where he was found lying in the same spot by the reporter for nearly 10 days.

His condition was horrible and @desi_dogfather agreed to help in getting him picked up immediately.

He was picked up at midnight and was taken to the vet.

His leg is broken in parts.
Will need intensive care for the next 4 months and will then be a permanent resident of @indielove_desi .

With every amount contributed we have been able to save many lives and provide Hospice care to many street dogs. Spotty was one of the strays we picked up and boarded for 3 months. His tumor was inoperable. He lived his last few weeks peacefully in a home.

We aim to provide medical care to more such dogs who have no place to go.
