Update5 30th July 2020 10:30 AM IST
Hrudanada Pati is on his recovery path post liver donation surgery. He is in ICU and will be moved to a general ward today. He is able to walk now little by little.
Baby Asmitha the recipient of the liver is doing absolutely fantastic post successful liver transplant.
She was on a ventilator post the surgery. Now she has been moved out to ICU. She would spend some more time in the ICU for close monitoring and post surgery care.
Her vitals are looking good after the surgery. Her new liver has started functioning.
More updates will follow as and when we get any updates from them in the hospital.

Update 4: 25 July 2020 IST 11:18PM
Current Update: Mr Hrudanada Pati the father and the donner of liver to Baby Asmitha(receiver) has been operated successfully. He has been shifted to the ICU for observation. His condition is stable and he is doing good as per the doctors. The donated liver of Mr Pati has been transplanted into Baby Asmitha and the long surgery was a successful one. She is doing good as per the doctors. She is under observation in the ICU and in next 24-48 hours she would regain her consciousness. Hope everything from here one goes fine and the the father and the baby recover soon and lead a normal and healthy life.
Let's pray for their speedy recovery.

Baby Asmitha's vital parameters have deteriorated over the last 24 hours. She was admitted to ICU today morning for close observation and to keep the vitals under control till the surgery.
Preliminary medical assessments are done by the hospital and there are no impediments on that front. Donner-the father(Hrudanada Pati) is fit to donate a part of his liver.
The receiver-daughter of Hrudanada Pati is fit to receive the liver.
There are some legal hiccups on the way that are being sorted out at the moment. Few judicial affidavits were requested by the Hospital and we are in the process of procuring them.
The hospital Authorities are also being very kind and lending a helping hand on this front.
On a positive note the required legal documentations are expected to be procured latest by Wednesday latest.
In the meantime Hospital Authorities have given and go ahead for the preparation for the surgery.
Hospital Authorities have informed us that the expected surgery date is Friday or Saturday.
