Dear Supporters,

We have some unfortunate news to share with you today. Santosh, Harsh's father passed away on 27th September.

He was under stress for the past few days as he was trying to arrange for the documents and had stopped eating as well. His health was declining and he became very weak. Unfortunately, his body was not able to cope with it and he passed away on 27th September.

The family is completely heartbroken and Harsh's mother's only hope now is to save her son. Harsh is doing better now. The doctors have suggested that the chances of saving Harsh are really good and the liver transplant should be performed by the 3rd week of October.

Harsh and his family were from a place named Satara which is about 250 Kilometres from Mumbai. His father was a farmer there and a few years back they lost everything in the floods. They lost their land, their produce, their house and documents.

He shifted to Thane from Satara. He somehow made ends meet by starting his life from scratch. After his son, Harsh was diagnosed with Wilson’s disease he felt like the ground below him opened up to swallow him whole. He still did not lose hope and tried every possible source to arrange funds for his son's treatment.

He was in a very slim situation but was ready to do anything to see his smile again and free from pain. When the doctors told him that Harsh's mother is a match and can donate a part of her liver to him, his happiness knew no bounds.

The only hurdles left were funds and documentation. He was sure that with your help he will be able to raise funds for Harsh's treatment but documents would take time. The doctors would not be able to proceed further without clearing the legal paperwork for the transplant committee clearance as the transplant is happening in a different state.

Harsh’s mother is trying all possible venues to raise funds for her sons treatment and is trying to arrange all the required documents to get clearance from the committee to proceed with the transplant. The transplant has to be performed by the third week of October.

Please share this campaign further with your friends and family to give Harsh and his mother a better chance to fight in this world. Your simple act of sharing this campaign will help them raise funds faster. Thank you all for all the love and support you have shown towards Harsh. Please pray for his health and his father's soul to rest in peace.

Best,
Team Milaap.
