Dear Supporters,

Thank you for the wonderful support that you have shown. We are withdrawing a portion of the amount raised via this campaign on Milaap to cover all the expenses related to the classroom in the last 5-6 months. It includes Math workbooks for foundational understanding, and other worksheets/classroom stationery, prints etc.

Thank you for the support!

Dear Supporters,

Thank you so much for continuing to donate. Because we're winding down the school year, we're rapidly trying to brainstorm support mechanisms for our students over the summer.

One way we intend to do that is support our most struggling students with tablets inbuilt with phonics and mathematics games so that they can maintain the growth they have achieved over the past year.

We'll be using tablets donated by TFI, supplemented with workbooks that reinforce basic literacy and numeracy. We'll be passing these learning packets to our most vulnerable students, and have them work on them over these next few months.

Thank you once again.

Hi Everyone!

We have a ton of updates for you, but I'll be sending them along in batches as we procure new things for our classroom. Here's the first one!

Teach for India is having a national conference in mid-February, where they are flying in 100 students from all over India to present over three days to educators around the nation, including those from some of India's best international schools! 70 of those students will be non-Teach for India students, from a mixture of high-income schools and partner organisations/other NGOs. 30 will be from Teach for India classrooms around the country, and we are flying them into Mumbai to present on their leadership journeys.

One of our very own students will be one of these 30 change makers! She was selected from over 600 applications, and she'll be spending a week in retreat and reflection with students from different backgrounds who have also inspired others. She wrote her winning essay on her role as the co-host of Little Voices, Big Ideas -- a Teach for India Youtube Webseries on leadership in India (wait for the first episode of the second season! It'll be out in mid-February).

I use this example to showcase what kinds of miracles these funds can accomplish. Pratibha's fees were paid using funds from here. Her interest in debate was fueled by your donations, as we put them towards her participation fees and transportation costs. And her interest in journalism, law, and debate have been supported by procuring books for the library that cover these fields and more.

More updates to come in the next couple weeks, both on Pratibha's journey and other updates going on in our classroom.

As always, thank you so much for your support!
