Hello everyone.
A big thank you to each and every one of you for coming forward for this, and helping out so many families in this time of need.

After distributing ration to some families in Himachal Pradesh, food items were delivered to 130 needy families in Shnongpdeng, Meghalaya, yesterday.
While it was given directly to 5 families, the others would receive it from the village headman today / tomorrow.

Here is a message from the secretary of the village. A big thanks to all of you for making t possible.

The headman of the village (Rangbah Shnong) also sent his sincere appreciation towards this. He said this was the first time that his village people were ever helped in this way.

To make this possible, a lot of kind souls came forward. Finally, got in touch with Priyanka Mawlong, in Jowai, who procured all food from Jowai, and went all the distance to Shnongpdeng, in heavy rain, to deliver it.

The list of items provided include
1300 KGs Rice
260 KG Dal
260 KG Potato

These items were procured with an idea to provide 10KG rice, 2KG dal and 2KG potato to each of 130 families.

Whenever any of you plan on going to Meghalaya, always know that there would be more than 130 homes where you can stay just like your own.

Between yesterday night and today morning, have received some more generous contributions from a few kind souls. These would be utilised to provide food and essentials to a families in Chamba and Kinnaur (in Himachal Pradesh). Will keep you updated on that front as well.

Thank you once again

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your Support

This is the list of items, with approximate costs and quantities, as received from a local from Meghalaya. The food requested is for 128 families. We do not have enough funds for this yet but we would try to give lesser quantities and distribute them equally and fairly to the families.

Thank you everyone for your generous contributions and wishes.

Today, I am withdrawing the funds that have been collected so far, and transferring them further to people in Meghalaya, who would be buying food items and delivering them to the 128 families in Shnongpdeng, Meghalaya.

Even though we do not have enough funds right now to be able to give them the requested quantities by them, but measures are being taken to distribute them fairly.

A big thanks to everyone who helped us in identifying these families, and put us in touch with reliable contacts in the region.

Contributions are still open, and whatever contributions are received would be used in either delivering food to more families in Meghalaya, or other families in other parts of the country.

Soon, I will have documents, bills, pictures and would be sharing the same with all of you to show how every contribution has been utilised.

Thanks you
