Sushanth is still under treatment.  Cleaning & redressing is still done once in 3 days.  The tissue & Skin transplant is not showing any improvement and the doctors have said that it will take time to heal.  Only after the skin gets set well and after complete healing the doctors will consider about the next surgery to remove the plates.  Only concern is the kid is going through lot of pain and doctors are working on pain management as well.

Once again thank you all for the immense support you have shown.  This means a lot to Sai Prasad and every single penny is supporting him greatly.

We thank all of you for your kind contributions made so far.  Sushanth is progressing well with the treatment post surgeries.  Sushanth is now taken back home as the hospital bed charges are expensive to manage.  Once in three days Sushanth needs to be taken to Apollo Hospitals for re-dressing both legs.  Each time Sushanth is taken to hospital it costs around Rs. 3000.  These generous contributions made helps Sai Prasad and his family to treat their kid.

The re-dressing is required because the left leg spread with fungus once.  The spreading of fungus can be isolated only by cleaning and re-dressing on regular basis.  The cost of this treatment is counting up every day and the donations made are helping to treat the kid.

Sushanth is still hospitalized and he has gone through another surgery.  Both legs are operated and inserted with plates for the bones to get set. The skin & tissues are transplanted from his abdomen to the legs. The doctors informed that the transplanted part of the legs will take the time to get set & heal (Up to 3 months).  

The left leg bone is broken into 13 pieces & the right leg bone is broken into 9 pieces. To fix the bone, plates are inserted on both legs. The inserted plates can be removed only after the transplanted skin & tissues are fully recovered for which the doctors have estimated to take up to 10 months.

The positive part is the doctors say as Sushanth is a kid, the growth will be quicker & healing might be a little early than expected.The doctors are confident about the legs functionality after it heals but still they are suspecting improper growth of the legs. They also are suggesting for ortho treatment in case of improper growth, but all these are only after both legs are completely fixed.

We once again want to thank each and every donor for their generous contribution made. This is really helping Sai Prasad and his family to fight to bring back Sushnath's life to normal.
