So there's good news. His lungs are clear of fluid. His blood oxygen level is normal. His blood sodium levels are a bit high but they are treating that. His kidney and liver function are almost normal. It looks like they will definitely take him off ventilator tomorrow. Today he will remain in ICU. As a precautionary measure he is still on the ventilator. Our prayers are working!
We still need help with funding. Thank you very much all ready for your generosity. I hope to pay all of this forward someday many times over.

Just got to see my dad and boy is he pissed off.
He still cannot speak due to the ventilator tube his mouth but through signs he communicated to me that he is most annoyed at everyone who is still keeping him in the ICU without giving him so much as a glass of water.
What this means is that he is fully conscious and is prepared to fight his way out of intensive care. Right now he is going to be kept on the ventilator till Saturday and on Sunday a decision will be taken to shift his intra-aortic balloon pump to the other leg. His heart is still a little weak and needs the support of the pump and his lungs still have a little fluid accumulation but his liver and kidney are improving.
I'm glad to see dad angry... Please pray so that he can come home and yell at all of us soon for putting him through these procedures!!

Thank you for all your amazing donations and hearts of gold!!
Dad is conscious but still heavily sedated. We are still not out of the woods as they will take him off ventilator only tomorrow. He is responding well so far. Please please keep those prayers coming so we can truly call this a miracle recovery!
