NOIDA COVID RELIEF 2020 -- Campaign Asha Update
Where Your Money Went
Accounts Report by enCOMPASSion

As many of you may be aware, enCOMPASSion has been working towards relief during the Covid-19 lockdown for migrant workers and daily workers in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. Entering the third month of our operations since the COVID 19 Lockdown began, we would like to offer a closer look at where your money has gone, with this brief accounts report.
For our next steps, during the month of June, we anticipate serving 1650 families of daily workers in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. Accordingly, we are raising our request for a contribution to Rs. 17,51,100, to bring dry ration relief kits to these families, and to support our overhead costs.

Expenses: (as on June 3, 2020)

1Relief Kits*INR 33,20,000
2Travel Kits**INR 2,000
3Overheads***INR 83,400
TotalINR 34,05,400
*Between March 30 and June 3, 2020, we have reached 20,211 individuals.
16,002 people were created through our partnership with GOONJ and funds raised through Wipro Foundation and our Milaap Fundraiser. 3320 Kits were provided in this manner, each costing Rs. 1000 approx.
5021 people were reached with kits sourced through partners and donors, including Fidus Law Chambers.
**For the travel kits, we raised an SOS call for material and financial donations. We gratefully acknowledge donations in kind received from Pratyek Foundation, with St. Columbus School, and Sakshi NGO, MCKS Foundation,  as well as contributions by individuals. As a result, our cost of procurement was quite low and we were able to use the funding received for this for transportation overheads.
***This amount includes transport cost of tempo to carry the provisions/ kits, warehouse cost, cost of petrol, and nominal honorarium for two volunteers from the daily wager community.

NEXT STEPS
We anticipate that we will continue with dry ration relief work, with a target of 1650 families until June 30th. For this, we have estimated that our financial needs are of Rs. 17,51,100 to cover the cost of Dry Ration for each of these families, and overheads including petrol costs, volunteer honorarium for two volunteers from the daily wager community, warehousing, and transport.
We will continue to meaningfully engage with the daily worker community in Noida and Greater Noida in the coming months. We are revisiting our strategy this month to concretize our interventions as we progress in July.

GRATITUDE
We would like to thank GOONJ for supporting our work with sourcing relief materials for both Relief and Travel Kits. We also acknowledge the invaluable partnership of Fidus Law Chamber during the first two months of this project.

We would also like to place on records, our gratitude to the numerous supporters and partners: Pratyek Foundation with St. Columbus School, Sakshi NGO, MCKS Foundation, Delhi Langar Seva, and many others for their support with procurement and supplies.
In addition to this, while the numbers are too long to list, we extend deep gratitude to every single donor who supported Campaign Asha. We received donations between the range of Rs. 51 and Rs. 2,00,000 on this campaign so far. Some of you have held campaigns for our campaign, run workshops, and events through which funding has come to us. We cannot express enough gratitude for this; every single rupee has meant a lot, every single contribution deeply valued. Thank you.

Finally, without volunteers, this operation would not have worked. There is no way to describe the grit and determination required for engaging day after day with vulnerable communities, facing the poverty and real-time crises that impact so many people in this country. Countless hours of back-end work supports the feet on the ground. This has been momentous work, a deep learning, and growing experience - and it all happens when we come together.

Thank you for your Support
