Dear donors,

As reported in our latest update, the teams at different locations are helping migrants travel home safely by providing them immunity boosters, food material and sanitation kits. The team at Mumbai is also providing sanitary pads to women who have been worst affected due to the lock down and increasing cases in the city.
To cater to their needs, we will have to extend the last date of our fundraising campaign to the end of this month, that is 30th June 2020.

Dear Donors,

Thank you for generously contributing to our campaign #BetterTogether.

Here are some recent updates from the on-ground work done with the help of your donations:
The team in Mumbai is working towards maintaining the hygiene of the migrant labourers who are going back to their hometowns in Shramik trains. NGO Samarpan has been providing sanitation kits containing hand sanitizers, soaps and face masks to those who are travelling. Till now, the team has provided these kits to 6400 migrant labourers travelling from Mumbai to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Additionally, the team is also providing sanitary pads to women in slums and has distributed 10,000 pads so far.
The team at Tiruppur is also preparing the migrant labourers for their journey back home. They are providing packed meals to people leaving on the trains. Till now they have provided meals for two trains, carrying 1620 passengers each. They are looking forward to providing the same for the next 11 trains.
The team in Bengaluru is providing immunity boosters to the migrant labourers. These include Spiriluna Chikkis. Till now they have provided around 5000 of these immunity boosters. The team is still attending to distress calls from across the city, of people who run out of food and ration.

These people need more of our help to ensure that the migrant labourers reach their hometowns safely and timely and people who are still left back, are provided relief admist the growing number of COVID-19 cases.
