Kat-Katha successfully provided relief on GB Road through our resilience program and impacted over 2000 women and 300 children across all brothels through distribution of ration, hygiene kits, stationery items, cleaning kits, LPG drives and more.

The purpose was to support the community during the unlocking period. To avoid any disruption in the education of children, comprehensive stationery including books and other study material was provided. The program provided livelihood to five women..

Delhi reported 24,368 fresh cases of Covid-19 and more than 250 deaths due to the disease today. Many hospitals in Delhi facing oxygen crisis right now. On the other hand, GB Road is shut down again.

Women and children are left hopeless again. They do not have access to basic facilities like ration, medicines, and others. In these tough times for the community, we request you to extend your support and donate to save these lives.

Since the lockdown, we have organized several distribution drives where we have offered more than 1.5 Lakh Meals, 5000 Sanitary Pads, Medical and Travel Support, Cleaning and Hygiene Kits to 2000 women and children living in brothels of GB Road. This is has happened just because you were consistently with us.

As part of our alternate livelihood support, we have recruited four women from GB Road as Community Leaders who will be conducting multiple surveys and distribution drives in coming months. We are so proud and blessed to see this happening on the STREET OF LOVE.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected educational systems worldwide. The impact was more severe for children living in brothels of GB Road causing interrupted learning and lack of facilities.

In response, Kat-Katha established online learning programs and partnered with Azim Premji Foundation, a philanthropic organization, to enable positive social change and sustainable development at GB Road.

In the APPI Project, we have been distributing stationery kits to more than 100 children for the past three months at our Bridge School. We are grateful to APPI for supporting the cause and helping us to bring back education in brothels of GB Road.
