Happy to share that preparations are fast underway for a reading room cum library for #UnderTheTree children and their parents as well. We have over 800 book titles for now.
Sitting arrangements for 15 have been made.

A good audio-visual facility is also available at the library. Children will be able to read audio books online and watch educational videos as well.

We are also going to introduce interactive learning facility very soon.

Virtual reality technology will also be used in near future for enhancing the learning experience.

We thank all our patrons and contributors who have helped us in setting up this small library for the UTT children.

Dear Donors
We are happy to share the outcome of the project-based learning method adopted at Under The Tree.
Two weeks back, children started learning about the germination of seeds. As part of the experiment, they were told to get black gram and soak them in water and then wrap in a wet cloth. Soon the germination process started. They sowed the gram and then in two weeks, the grams are full-grown now.

We thank you donors for the support and patronage. We will continue to keep you posted of the developments of Under The Tree.
Best,
Meetali

Dear Donors
We are happy to share that Under The Tree has now started two more projects for the children.
1. The first project is building a book bank and a library for the children. We have collected over 600 titles so far.  This will cater to the needs of grown-up children in the locality. Some books have been kept for the parents of these children as well in order to create an enabling environment for education.
The book bank cum library is expected to be launched soon.
2. The second project is about imparting basic digital education to children in the age group of 18 and above. In the last two years, we randomly identified 4 students at Under The Tree for imparting digital education.
We are happy to share that the results were very encouraging.
This project is designed to provide learning in digital productivity programs. Besides computer education, basic training in team building, communication, and entry-level managerial training is provided in order to make the children job-ready.
So far, with our limited resources, we have able to take only 4 students for digital training.
A workshop on social media marketing has also been planned with 10 students.

Once again, we are thankful for your kind support and patronage to Under The Tree. With your active support we would be able to continue on this journey with more vigour and strength.
best,
Meetali Anup Sinha
