I am very thankful to Shrenis for providing funds to fulfil my immediate requirements.
- Uday Basme, Weaver, Shigli

We have received funds from Shreni which allows us to buy our essential household groceries. We heartily thank Shrenis  for their help.
- Gurunath Basu, Weaver, Yamakanmardi

We couldn't afford basic things due to Corona virus. I would like to thank Shreni for their monetary help.
- Surekha, Rosewood Artisan, Mysore

Dear Donors,
Thank you for your continued support. With your help, we’ve been able to disburse Rs. 1,25,000 to 154 weavers and artisans. However, we haven’t been able to raise the amount we had expected to in two weeks. We understand that in the current situation there are multiple campaigns being run and most people are experiencing donor fatigue.

Therefore, we are extending our campaign to run till the end of May 2020 to be able to collect more funds to help our weavers. Apart from this, we are also developing programs and solution that will be focused on longterm, sustainable build back. So be sure to keep an eye out for that as well.

Here are a few images from our beneficiaries. You can find more of these on our website Shrenis.com.
(Note: Cash was disbursed only to beneficiaries without bank accounts. Social distancing guidelines were maintained)

Dear Donors,

Thank you for your efforts!  We hope you continue to support our cause. We would like to update you on our progress so far.

We have been able to disperse funds to almost 100 weavers and artisans over the last week, largely through internal and direct donations to the Trust. Weavers and artisans in Kodiyala, Shigli, Motaganahalli, Craft Colony Mysore, and Kallur have received Rs. 1000 each. As we collect more funds, we will disperse the remaining Rs. 2000 to them. We are operating through our local community leaders in each of these clusters. Most of the dispersal  has been through direct transfers to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. However, there have been a few cases where our community leader has donated cash to those who do not have bank accounts.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our community leaders who are working tirelessly to help those in need. We would also like to thank all of you who have donated to our cause, we really appreciate it.
