Hello everyone,
Hope you are all safe and taking care of your loved ones. We have a bunch of updates to share:
1. We have started the ambitious in-house ration model project where our children along with 50 families are working on cultivating organic food grains and vegetables to ensure there's a regular supply of food in the community.

2. Our children continue to learn from home. Some of them are working on creating cost-effective masks, some are documenting the lives of their community members during this pandemic, some others are working on low-cost innovations that can be installed at various places in the village for public safety. Some elder kids are doubling up to save money for their school fees, medicines for family members, etc.

While there's so much happening emotionally on the ground, our team is also working from home and constantly interacting with all our kids and their parents via calls and messages.

We have a small request from our end. Since most of you know we don't rely on corporate funding, rather we believe in the collective potential of common people like you, we would be grateful if you can share this fundraiser in your network. Sharing this with the people you know will increase our chances of scaling our solutions and supporting as many families as we can in this pandemic.

Thanks for being a constant source of support. And we hope for your best health.

Regards,
Team Insight Walk

An urgent appeal

Dear family, we hope you are all well.

The ongoing lockdown has affected the lives of some of the most vulnerable communities across the country. A couple of the displaced communities we work with directly are also affected by the lockdown.

While the crisis is not just what we see now, but also what is yet to come.

- A lot of students are on the verge of dropping out to support their families for daily wages. In addition, for the students who are above grade 9, buying educational resources will be financially challenging.
The long-term solution is a community library and access to resources in our lab. We’ve created a space where their learning doesn’t stop despite the challenges. A few of the kids are designing educational materials for each other – breaking it down as per the community context.

- Time and again with every crisis, our communities often run out of ration supply. To mitigate this in the long-term, we are scaling organic farming and creating an in-house community ration supply model.

To run these two major projects, we need your support. Any help in scaling these projects goes a long way in ensuring that the community prospers holistically.
