Thanks a lot for your wonderful support. 2nd chemo and blood transfusion is completed today. Here after 3rd chemo will be there @15days and @30th day admission for bone marrow transplant. Among parents father is identified as most suitable half match donar for stem cells. Still we are short of 6.81lakh. Please contribute, every contribution counts us.

It is very painful to provide blood every 10 days. Harsh is fed up of that, each time he cries a lot and ask why  only me, when I will cure ??  But we don't have any answer.

On 22 Jun we have started the BMT half match process. We need to go through 3 cycles (3 day in 15 days) of chemo and after that 1 month admission for BMT process. Already 1st chemo is started.Samples of parents are given, either one’s stem cell will be taken during the process. Once the test results are in we will update you further

Harsh is yet to undergo the transplant. The doctors have told us that the only curative treatment is a bone marrow transplant. But he does not have a fully matched donor in the family. There was a potential 10/10 matched unrelated donor in DKMS (German Registry), but unfortunately he has refused to donate. Hence,the doctors are now planning to do a Haplo Identical (half match) Bone Marrow Transplant using alpha/beta depletion kit. Hence, the cost of the treatment is now increased to about Rs. 36.5 lacs.
