Fundraise for a Cause with Milaap : the Best Crowdfunding | Milaap
18th June 2017
Dear Supporters and Well-wishers,

First of all, "Thank you very much!" for such a great and overwhelming response from the deep heart!
As the first step, here is an update of our campaign. We have selected a small vacant shop (near Proddutur, Kadapa district Andhra Pradesh) which is a fit for the purpose, i.e., to generate apt income for the survival of the farmer's family as well as the Kirana Store. We have spoken to the owner of the shop and fixed the monthly rent and the advance amount. It is Rs. 4500/- per month (Actually, it was 6k per month. After explaining the situation of the family, he also showed mercy and agreed for the less) and the advance amount is Rs. 54,000/- (One year). We will be occupying the shop by the first week of July, and we are going to pay that advance on next week.

Here is the breakup of fundraiser amount:
  1. Rs. 54000/- Advance
  2. We keep aside some Rs. 10,000/- for small business registration, PAN, CTS, etc.
  3. Working capital of Rs. 2,50,000/- to buy general commodities and general article to run the Kirana Store.
  4. General maintenance cost of the shop including small goods holders and wooden racks, etc. i.e., carpentry work. Rs. 30,000/-
  5. Rs. 50,000/- for Medical expenses of his elderly parents (for both) for the entire year.
  6. Rs. 50,000/- for educational fees, books, uniform, etc. of their two children for the entire year.
Gathered the local people support and everybody responded quite positively. As of now, this is what the plan is. And we will update the work progress in next step. Any suggestions and valuable points are always welcome!
