Dear All,

Tanish has now embarked the journey of Bone Marrow Transplant. Last week, he was admitted to Yashoda Hospital again and going through the first phase of high dose chemotherapy. We did find an organisation who were ready to help for Tanish's complete treatment of Anti Body Kit and Bone Marrow Transplant. However, the hospital and the donating organisation had difference in terms and conditions of payment wherein we lost almost 3-4 weeks and Tanish's health deteriorated.

Finally, last week Yashoda accepted the offer from donating organisation but we had lost time to order Anti Body Kit which takes 15  days to arrive from abroad. To protect Tanish, a decision was made last week to directly conduct Bone Marrow Transplant which has now started.

The complete treatment will take about 26 days and I hope Tanish comes out of it as a fighter. The stem cells will be donated by his father at the end of this week and the transplant will commence. It is going to be a very crucial and difficult stage for Tanish and all in family for the amount of risk and complications involved.

I request you all to please continue praying for Tanish and send across your blessings. I thank you all for always being there and helping us as a family drive this campaign. It wouldn't have been possible without your support.

Tanish has really gone through a lot being such a small child and I hope the bestest for him. Lots of love for Tanish xx and thanking all on behalf of complete family.

Dear Supporters,

Tanish has been undergoing mild Chemotherapy sessions in Yashoda Hospital from 21st June and has completed 8 sessions. There are still a couple of sessions pending to prevent him from developing more immature bad cells and thus increase the percentage of the blast. His WBC, Platelets count has gone down and he has become very weak. The new cost which the doctor has suggested is Rs. 30 Lacs/- for Bone Marrow Transplant and Anti-Body Kit. The kit will help to increase the survival chance of Tanish by 30-35% and hence we are going around fundraising to provide him with the best of treatment. If we only go through Bone Marrow Transplant which cost Rs.18 Lacs the chances of Tanish's survival are 50%.

The HLA Typing i.e. the matching of samples with parents is only 40% which means maybe a need to also search for a foreign donor. We are about to talk to Datri.org who helps for arranging the same.

I urge you to continue praying for the kid and Thank you all for always being there. God Bless You.

Thank you.
