Here is an update regarding this campaign.

Pratima Kumari, daughter of Naresh ji and Gayatri Devi's daughter in law are doing significantly better yet the healing is taking incredible time as they are coming out of 70% burn.

Pratima will be moving out of ICU in 2-3 days time and Gayatri will move out of ICU hopefully in 5 days from today.

Naresh Mahto ji went back from Ranchi to Giridih for the paper work for government aid. He was completely stressed out and fainted. He was briefly hospitalized but now he is recovering. His brother and Gayatri's parents are taking care of both the patients in the hospital.

Naresh ji's son Pawan Kumar who died out of 90% burn (Gayatri's husband) has a 15 month old Kid. He was also very sick and was taken to hospital. He is also recovering.

The family is seeing a very tough time but with the grace of God and friends like you all, things will slowly improve.

Thanks for your email and generous donation offer.

Currently, the girls have been in the ICCU for over a month and have gone through their surgeries and recovering. Both of them are over 70% burnt but out of danger. The recovery is slow and very painful.

The hospital is not giving any relief but our team is trying our best to get Nareshjee some relief through BPL medical scheme of the government, but that's taking time.

Meanwhile, we continue to pay the hospital bills and the Milaap fundraiser amount is directly going to Nareshjee who pays for the hospital/medicines, etc bills.

Once the girls are home, we would like to get them rehabilitated and out of trauma and get them some livelihood skills and support.
