I reached Gaya, Bihar, early morning on 18-5-2017. Though, he appears to be frail and debilitated in view of his advancing age but remains single-minded in his resolve to get his Sanskrit books digitised and published. A snapshot from my mobile camera is enclosed. I sent a message to Ms Debotri in this regard on 18th morning and advised her to directly communicate on the phone as desired, though there was no follow-up.

He asked me to consider shifting to Gaya as soon as possible to plan for the next step. In fact, he had already located a 2 BHK house and asked me to have a look at the same. I visited the house. The house appears OK but is at quite some distance (2 km) from where Shri C S Sharma lives. He asked me to try to identify a few alternative locations.

After a period of uncertainty, today (29-5-2017), he has been able to consume proper solid food (Khichdi) though the doctor has advised complete bed rest and has strongly recommended least possible conversation.

As the office set up is yet to take place. I am planning to temporarily seek help from my elder son Rohit to help me put things in order with help of my personal laptop, till such time, a proper computer operator can be identified and engaged.

Accordingly, I am now again planning to leave for Gaya next week, along with my son Rohit for further necessary action in this regard.

Thank you.

I am leaving for Gaya on 16th May evening. The health condition of Shri C S Mishra remains a cause of concern. There are indications that his hearing faculty is deteriorating, which might require a proper check up and appropriate supporting device. Other health factors shall be known only after reaching there.
I shall provide further inputs after reaching there.

I shall request all well-wishers to kindly continue to extend all possible support and help in spreading the message among friends and relatives.

Dear supporters,

I am Debotri, a fellow at Milaap. Here is an update on the project of Mr Mishra.

I spoke to Mr Rakesh, the person who is organising this campaign, this morning. Mr Rakesh is expected to leave From Dehradun to meet Mr Mishra in Gaya, Bihar on 17th of this month.

The first idea is to create an office setup. After this, efforts will be put to get almost 200 manuscripts digitised in PageMaker format by taking help from a local computer operator. This is a long time project which would almost run for a minimum of 6 months.

The present health condition of Shri Mishra is deteriorating and he genuinely wants this work to start at the earliest. It is one of his greatest wishes.

"I will be contributing something from my own pocket to help him. I would request each one of to share the story and help him to reach the target amount. Let's all come forward and lend a helping hand", said Rakesh.

Thank you, donors, for your support and contribution. We will keep you posted on the progress.
