It gives me a immense pleasure to announce that finally MRD report is negative for Darshit. We were waiting for this moment from past 8 months. Now he is planned for the bone marrow transplant and will be admitted on coming Monday i.e. on 28 Aug 2017. Father (myself) will be the donor and it's a 50% match, haploidentical transplant. Doctor will be using TCR depletion kit( very costly) from Germany to control GVHD. The overall cost will be close to 30 lakhs for the whole procedure.
I want to thank each one of you who have supported us financially and emotionally during this tough phase of our life. Please keep praying for Darshit that he successfully comes out from BMT and lives a normal life soon!!

Hello All donors,
It has been a while that I haven't posted any updates. Darshit's bone marrow transplant has not been done yet. He is receiving high risk blocks of chemotherapy to bring down the MRD test to a level of 0.01, which is required stage before the transplant. His last MRD report was 0.04 and then received HR1 block 6 days chemo from 27 June 2017 to 3rd July 2017. Next MRD will be repeated after 20 days when he overcome all the chemo side effects. Praying to GOD that this time his report come negative, it has been almost 7 months that he is on chemotherapy. It is a long battle to fight. Thanks to all of you who have given us support to fight against this deadly disease.

Posting an update regarding Darshit's health, his MRD test done on 18 May is not negative. That means, his disease has not come under control that is a mandate before the Transplant. Now he has to undergo more intense chemotherapy to bring the disease under control and then MRD test will be repeated. Once it becomes negative, he will be taken for the Bone Marrow Transplant. He is now admitted for 6 days and R2 block of chemo had been started. Praying to God that hopefully now everything gets streamlined. Darshit needs blessings of all of you alongwith medicine, please pray for him that he gets well soon.
